First Team

Thanks to Sam for producing the player profiles. Here’s a sample of what’s to come. I think you’ll get the feel for this!

The Management

	Kevin Hill (Hilly) Player manager with 474 professional games behind him, but don’t mention it if you need to get anywhere quick.
Bob Chard Sponge Bob, club veteran with a magic sponge and icy cold water. So nice to have him back from his holiday in Budleigh.
	Andy Rawlings Assistant manager and all round nice fella. Mrs Rolo makes great cakes.
Mike Skinner Backroom staff member and larger than life local celebrity.

The Players

	Robbie Powell A top class goalkeeper and also a good slip fielder who has been known to tip one around the post to third man.
Kieran Willdigg Fans favourite nicknamed Psycho, strong defender, no butts.
	Scott Merrit Attacking Full back with an eye for goal. Known in the Mel Pym Stand as “Bend it like Merrit” after his sensational strike last season (2018-19).
Max Gillard Exciting attacking full back who is liable to go on holiday during the season.
	James Richards Top utility player oozing class in every position.
Steve Avery Mr reliable and club stalwart recently moved to Alphington. Best of luck to him as he was a good servant to the club.
	Dave Rowe Heavily tattooed defender putting professionals to shame.
Mark Lever Defensive midfielder who wins all the back fours headers, local bookmaker has him 25/1 for top scorer.
	Tom Gardner A top defender with great experience at a higher level. Fantastic signing by the manager, Super Tom.
Jamie Dirrane No nonsense central defender with an eye for goal.
	Adam Bilcock Bilko has gone travelling and is a big miss, a passing midfield player in the Glenn Hoddle mode.
Callum Shipton Midfield player with a great touch, nicknamed pele… Says it all!
	Aarron Denny Modern number 10 deceptively quick with go gadget legs.
Karl Rickard Midfield rat and former trained killer drives the team on.
	Ace High Fans favourite and former striker. Now a pacey wing back, he’s on fire.
Jordan Harris Old fashioned centre forward and the silent assassin. Strong bull of a man with plenty more come. Watch this space!
	Ben Steer Tricky winger with an eye for goal clean cut school teacher most of the time.
Jimmy Hinds Midfield box to box player with an unusual running style.
